The five venues and over 200 Wi-Fi access points are now directly connected to two Bordeaux data centres by secure fibre optic cables with a minimum speed of 3Gpbs.
This new configuration will provide solutions to meet growing demand among event planners for web and multimedia services, including streaming services, multiple SSIDs, image file-sharing, and remote conferencing.
Event planners can also benefit from increased support by partnering with CEB’s Digital Services Department.
Bordeaux Events ensures advanced support for IT, digital and audiovisual solutions for all events for professionals and the general public (trade shows, congresses, business conventions, roadshows, etc.).
Experts from the Digital Services Department assist our sales team by advising clients based on a risk analysis conducted for each event.
They are also present at the start of each event to ensure that the digital and audiovisual services function properly.
They have implemented new tools to make our presentations of event designs more interactive.
Optimised event hosting services
We recently completed work to standardise and optimise our Wi-Fi infrastructure, establishing coverage for the remaining dead zones.
The team also worked to improve the signage for the venues.
As a result, Bordeaux Exhibition Centre now has digital signs and dynamic signage has been added to Bordeaux Congress Centre and Palais 2 l’Atlantique, with simplified back-office management that allows event planners to work autonomously if they wish.
