Key events for the city’s economic sectors

During this long-awaited autumn season, we will be hosting key events for the region and its economic sectors. Several sectors will be gathering in Bordeaux in September and October, including the agri-food, environment, property and e-health industries. There are many reasons behind these events, such as the need to gather stakeholders from the industries, pursue strategic reflection, resume commercial exchanges, find new partners, and launch future-oriented projects. The event organisers know they can count on Bordeaux as an attractive destination with high-quality facilities for visitors and a dynamic business ecosystem.

  • Foire aux Seconds Vins (Second Wine Fair), 16 October, at Hangar 14
  • Electric Road, the e-mobility forum, 18-20 October, at Palais 2 l’Atlantique
  • Viv Healthtech, 19-20 October, at the Bordeaux Congress Centre
  • 81st Congrès HLM (social housing conference) by Union Sociale Pour l’Habitat, 28-30 September, at Palais 2 l’Atlantique

Focus on the 81st edition of CONGRES HLM: THE ANNUAL SOCIAL HOUSING EVENT

Le 81ème Congrès HLM de l’Union Sociale pour l’Habitat se déroulera du 28 au 30 septembre 2021 au Palais 2 l’Atlantique à Bordeaux. Le Congrès HLM rassemble durant 3 jours les bailleurs sociaux et leurs partenaires entreprises, élus, associations et médias professionnels, pour échanger autour de la politique du logement et de l’habitat social. C’est un rendez-vous très attendu par les participants qui vont pouvoir reprendre collectivement et en présentiel les discussions et réflexions sur des sujets essentiels pour le secteur : amplification de la production, réforme des attributions, accompagnement de dynamiques territoriales diversifiées. Maritime Economy Forum (AEM): Bordeaux to host an edition devoted to the transition of the maritime economy

Philippe Fourrie, co-founder of the Ilago agency and coordinator of the Maritime Economy Forum [Assises de l’Economie de la Mer - AEM], the 19th edition of which will take place at Bordeaux Congress Centre on 19 and 20 November, takes us behind the scenes of this key event for maritime sector players. Organised since 2005 by Le Marin, a specialist publication by the Ouest-France press group, this annual event brings together key policymakers and experts from the sector which alone represents 1.5% of France’s GDP.
