ECHOPPE DE LA LUNE

‘Fly me to the moon? You're sure to travel through the history and specialities of the Port de la Lune. L'ECHOPPE DE LA LUNE is much more than just a delicatessen, it's an invitation back in time to discover the history of the brands that were born on the banks of the Garonne.

You're sure to fall in love with Bordeaux Events and L'ECHOPPE DE LA LUNE. Our love of Bordeaux, our simplicity and our unfailing good humour were a perfect match!

Meet Anna Pedelaborde, the sparkling founder and manager of L'ECHOPPE DE LA LUNE.

As a new partner of Bordeaux Events, L'ECHOPPE DE LA LUNE is first and foremost a great place to meet and talk about! It's a new service that allows event organisers to offer a boutique of gourmet products ‘made in Bordeaux’ directly on site. Practical, time-saving and delicious, it's a winning combination!

L'ECHOPPE DE LA LUNE is...

A great idea...

The idea behind this shop is to combine a passion for history and gastronomy ‘made in Bordeaux’ by offering a selection of food brands from Bordeaux and the Gironde. The idea is to introduce visitors to local specialities, with a few historical anecdotes thrown in for good measure.

This historical and gourmet grocery shop tells the story of Bordeaux from the Age of Enlightenment to the present day, through the history of the brands that were born on the banks of the Garonne, inspired by the produce of the port and the riches of the hinterland.

Evocative brands...

Madeleines de Proust, these artisanal products evoke fond memories.

Sweet, savoury, organic or gluten-free, alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. Chocolates, caviar, whisky, soaps, pâtés and even beers and cakes... there's something for every taste bud.

Here, all the products invite you to take a journey from 1755, when Marie Brizard's famous anisette was made, to the present day with the creation of Moon Harbour whisky from Bordeaux!

Here are a few emblematic brands to discover:

Bouchon de Bordeaux, Brasserie de la Lune, Cacolac, Canelés de Bordeaux, Jock, Lillet, Meneau, Noisettines du Médoc, Sel de vin, Sturia, Château Venus...

A gourmet and sparkling ambassador

Anna Pédelaborde is a bit like your culinary tourist guide. She knows everything there is to know about the history and anecdotes of the region's products. She's passionate about Bordeaux and a true ambassador for its gourmet heritage. Strongly involved in local life; President of Femmes Chefs d'Entreprise Bordeaux Gironde, elected to the CCI Bordeaux Gironde, Vice-President of ‘Bordeaux mon Commerce’, Anna contributes actively to the influence of Bordeaux.

A mutual crush

Bordeaux Events was looking for a partner to produce local, artisanal gourmet gift boxes, and naturally turned to L'ECHOPPE DE LA LUNE. Making gift boxes is all very well, but why not offer event organisers a mobile boutique that would enable participants to discover Bordeaux's gastronomic heritage directly on site? The idea is born! After a few pencil strokes, Anna Pédelaborde drew up the first sketches of a modular, mobile stand.

It took up residence at the Palais des Congrès and was set up at the request of organisers who wanted to offer this service to their guests.

Constrained by a tight schedule, delegates, exhibitors and visitors often don't have time to go into the city centre to do a bit of shopping. With L'ECHOPPE DE LA LUNE, the treasures of Bordeaux are just around the corner.

Who are the little 'darlings'?

A few best sellers that are already very popular: the unmissable Bordeaux canelés (which can be vacuum-packed for maximum preservation), Sel de château, canelé tea and sarments du Médoc.
